About Tehan

Hello, I'm Tehan, a first-year undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I've been passionate about teaching for over 3 years, and it gives me great joy when I see my students improve and progress through my tutoring.

While I was at school, I found that I sometimes struggled to understand certain topics, while for others it would naturally click. Having been tutored in various subjects myself, I've felt the benefit that 1-to-1 tutors can give in improving my grades. Sometimes, all it takes is someone explaining a concept differently for everything to finally click.

This is exactly what I aim to deliver to you - personalised feedback and explanations to help you improve your grades - tailored to your learning style.

Whether you're struggling with Economics or aiming for the top grades, I want to help you build confidence, deepen your understanding, and achieve your academic goals!

About the lesson

I offer 1-hour online Economics lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, tailored to each student's ability, learning style and academic goals.

With three years of tutoring experience, straight 9s at GCSE and straight A*s at A-Level, and a place to study PPE at the University of Oxford, I understand what is required to achieve excellent academic results.

My lessons focus on two key areas: developing a thorough understanding of economic concepts and mastering examination technique. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable explanations, use real-world examples to make economic theory more intuitive, and work through exam-style questions to develop the analytical and evaluative skills examiners reward.

Alongside subject-specific advice, I provide personalised revision strategies, feedback on written answers, and practical advice on maximising marks.

I am able to tutor any student regardless of their starting point, helping them make tangible improvements and achieve their academic goals.
