About Emma
I am a bilingual French-Canadian who has recently completed her doctorate in medieval literature in the Faculty of English at the University of Oxford, UK. Prior to this degree, I completed an honours bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in English Literature at the University of Ottawa, where I was valedictorian for my graduating class.
My teaching experience is extensive and includes lecturing as well as teaching seminars and small-group Oxford-style tutorials, all at the university level. I first gained experience in teaching English grammar as a TA at the University of Ottawa, and I have since taught a broad range of literary texts at the Universities of Oxford and Reading. I am now based in Toronto.
