About David
I studied Classics at the University of Oxford. I was the President of the Oxford Law Society in my final year and I have just finished my Legal Practice Course.
I've helped tutor students applying for Law at Oxbridge and conducted mock interviews at a top private boarding school.
I've helped out at my old school with Oxbridge Classics and Law applications and given talks offering general advice to students looking to apply. I've also taught a week long Classical Mythology course to primary school students in Singapore.
I've recorded video content with The Corporate Law Academy, a company that helps students obtain training contracts at City law firms.

I'm here to help you achieve your maximum potential in your subject. I believe that one-on-one teaching is a very effective way of learning. One of the benefits of private tuition is that the tutor can ensure their pupil has fully understood a topic by drawing out critical responses from them as part of a discussion. This is very difficult to achieve in a larger classroom setting.
In each of my lessons I don't just lecture my students, I strive to make sure that I have provided them with the information they need to succeed, but also that they can demonstrate how they've taken on that knowledge and can relay that information back to me. This is the only way to ensure that information will stick in the long term.
Whilst achieving excellent exam results is very important, in my lessons I make sure to include material which the average candidate would not include in their exam script. That way my pupils not only learn the core content on the syllabus, but additional material which will increase their wider interest in the subject and also benefit them when it comes to the exam.
