About Shiney
My flute teaching style is deeply rooted in mindfulness and connection. I specialize in working with adults over 50 who are ready to explore music as a form of personal enrichment and expression. I tailor each lesson to your energy, goals, and learning preferences—whether you like to learn visually, by ear, or through written music. I integrate breathwork, listening, and body awareness into every session so that playing becomes not just a skill but a calming, immersive experience. For many students, flute becomes a way to unwind and reconnect with themselves. I use creative strategies like personalized playlists, poetry-inspired phrasing exercises, and duet-based learning to make each lesson uniquely meaningful. You’ll never feel like you're "behind" or "too late" in my studio—just encouraged to keep discovering what your flute and your heart have to say.
