About Allysa
I grew up singing, performing even from the age of three years old on the stage of my hill in my parents' front yard! I have always loved connecting with people through music. It brings my spirit alive. I also have had my own struggles in learning how to overcome performance anxiety and being proud of the gift I have to share. I love helping others recognize what they have to share and finding the joy in using their voice! I love people and connecting with them!

My teaching plans are personalized, based on current needs of the students. As we work on a song, we break it down into sections and focus on technique in breath, placements, interpretations, etc. and see how all those ideas work together to create music.
I love connecting with my students. Our voices help us connect to life and therefore to each other. I also love exploring how our emotions and experiences connect us to our voices and the music we are experiencing.
I love teaching all ages and levels, as we all have something to learn! I focus on classical, musical theater and pop styles, though have experience other things such as folk song.
