About Joselina
I am a professional ballet dancer and received all my professional training from Milwaukee Ballet until joining the Madison Ballet company this past year. Throughout all my years of training, teachers and director stressed the importance of being diverse and therefore I received training in not only in the Vaganova method,but as well as Balanchine and Bournonville. I have also been trained in other forms of dance such as jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop, African, Afro Cuban, Latin movement,etc. For the last four and a half years i have been giving private and groups lessons.

I love to teach my students extensive knowledge about their own body so that they know and accept what they are working with. I stress the what,why,how,when,and where of each muscle to students so they not only are aware of their body at all times, but have a greater idea of where their real limit is and push beyond that. Being mentally healthy is also important to students because it is a skill that can be used to make themselves a better dancer and a better person even outside and after ballet.

I can travel up to 15 to 20 miles (cost of travel may vary).
Cancellations should be communicated up to 8 hours before (Letting me know the day before would be ideal). I will also communicate with you if any cancellations happen on my part.
