About George
Bonjour! I'm George, an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with 16 years of experience in Ontario French Immersion schools.
I specialize in French Immersion Grades 1 to 6 - all subjects taught in French. I don't just teach French as a language, I teach in French.
I help students who struggle with:

- Sciences
- Études sociales / Social Studies
- Français - lecture, écriture et communication orale
I understand the Ontario French Immersion curriculum inside out, and I know where kids get lost when they switch from English to learning everything in French.

My lessons are 100% in French and follow the Ontario Curriculum:
For Grades 1-3: Focus on French vocabulary, phonics, reading, and introduction to Math in French with visuals and games. We build confidence to follow instructions in French.
For Grades 4-6: We work on more advanced subjects - problem solving in Math en français, Science experiments vocabulary, Social Studies in French, plus paragraph writing and oral presentations.
How I teach:
1. 10-min review of what was done in class
2. Lesson of the day with simple explanations in French
3. Practice together with Ontario curriculum worksheets
4. Summary notes for parents after each lesson
Online via Zoom / Google Meet. I provide all materials, worksheets, and vocabulary lists. First class is diagnostic to see your child's level in French.
