About Gabriello
Hi everyone! My name is Gabriello and I'm an Ontario Certified Teacher (677843) offering online literacy tutoring for students who would benefit from support with reading, writing, spelling, and learning strategies.
I have 10 years of teaching experience, a Master of Education degree, and Specialist qualifications in Special Education. I specialize in working with students with diverse learning needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other exceptionalities. My approach is patient, individualized, and focused on helping students build skills, confidence, and independence as learners.

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher, Special Education Specialist, and Literacy Intervention Specialist with a Master of Education degree and over 10 years of experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
I specialize in working with students who may require additional support with reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, executive functioning, and learning strategies. My experience includes supporting students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, mild intellectual disabilities, and other exceptionalities.
My approach combines evidence-based teaching practices with patience, encouragement, and individualized instruction. I use structured literacy approaches grounded in the Science of Reading, including explicit instruction in phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and written expression. For numeracy, I focus on building foundational understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
Lessons are tailored to each student's strengths, needs, and learning goals and may include:
• Reading intervention and decoding support
• Literacy development for struggling or reluctant readers
• Writing and spelling instruction
• Executive functioning and study strategies
• Support for students with IEP accommodations and learning exceptionalities
My goal is to help students build skills, confidence, and independence while creating a positive learning experience where they feel successful and supported.
