About Egle

I have thought private and group lessons across Lithuania , London as well as Colombia! I have worked with all ability and age students in dance schools, studios and summer camps. I have started dancing in 2010, have taken various workshops from internationally known dancers, dance pioneers, have competed in competitions, battles , performed at shows, events and music videos in UK, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Holland, Colombia and USA (NY specifically).
I have studied Performing Arts at Kingston College and completed BA in Dance:Urban Practice at UEL.

About the lesson

I am very passionate and dedicated teacher , I pay attention to how my students feel ,how they respond to my tasks and the most important - are they having fun.
First of all we will have a chat to get to know each other , talk about your dance experience , your skills and abilities , aims/goals so I can create a perfect structure tailored to you!
Don't worry if you have no dance experience or don't exactly know which dance style you'd like to learn - I'm here to help!
The core principles of my teaching are :
- Guiding. The first and most important thing to me is finding your own way of movement ,making you feel comofortable within your body and understanding the basic principles of how your body responds to the movement and music.
- Motivation and discipline. No , it won't be a boot camp and I won't push you or make you do something that you don't want or are not confident in doing. Learning is a never ending process I will help you to stay focused and motivated throughout ups and downs of it. We will define your strenghts and weaknesses together and work towards improving them.
- Dance knowledge in practice and theory. I will introduce you to history of the style , the music and culture and explain the essence of a style while breaking down the main grooves and steps.
