About Varvara

I am a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor specializing in Science and STEM education, with a strong proficiency in astronomy, biology, genetics, physics, and mathematics. With a focus on pre-algebra and algebra, I excel in making complex concepts accessible and engaging for young learners. My approach is tailored to K-8 students, ensuring that I simplify and clarify mathematical and scientific topics effectively. I am described as intelligent, hardworking, and sociable. About the lesson

Note - Online lessons only.

A typical lesson with me will include a brief introduction and warm-up consisting of simple exercises. This will be followed by instructions and examples of a chosen topic - after which the student will be given practice tasks that will be reviewed. For returning learners, I will take notes of problematic areas and review them in future lessons.

I aim to make your child comfortable with learning topics that may have been proven an area of struggle through humor, encouragement, and relatability.

Working with me, you can be sure that your child will be well educated and inspired, all while enjoying the learning process.
