About Claudia

Hi! I’m a friendly, experienced tutor with a passion for helping kids feel confident and capable in their learning. I offer online tutoring in English, Math, Science, and Music for students from Prep to Year 7. I’ve worked as a governess and private tutor while traveling around Australia, supporting children in both traditional and remote learning environments. This experience taught me how to tailor lessons to different learning styles, build trust quickly, and create a positive space where students can thrive. My sessions are engaging, curriculum-aligned, and always adapted to suit your child’s needs—whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or being extended beyond the classroom. I believe learning should feel achievable and even fun! I’d love to support your child’s education journey with patience, creativity, and consistency.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is warm, flexible, and student-centred. I adapt each lesson to suit the individual needs, learning pace, and personality of the student. Whether we’re working on foundational skills or extending advanced learners, I use positive reinforcement, clear explanations, and interactive activities to keep students engaged and supported.

My typical lessons last about one hour, but I’m flexible and happy to adjust lesson length to suit your child’s attention span and needs. Lessons are structured but relaxed—we review previous content, work through new material, and finish with a recap or short game to reinforce learning.

I have experience working as a private tutor and governess while travelling around Australia, teaching students in Prep to Year 7 across English, Maths, Science, and Music. This role allowed me to develop practical strategies for one-on-one teaching and gave me a deep understanding of how to support students across a wide range of abilities.

My lessons are perfect for primary school students (Prep–Year 7) who need extra help, confidence-building, homework support, or enrichment beyond the classroom. Whether your child is struggling or simply wants to feel more confident in their learning—I’m here to help!
