About Abigail

Hi! I’m a passionate and experienced math tutor with over 6 years of tutoring experience. I have a strong background in mathematics and have worked with students across a wide range of ages and ability levels, from elementary school through college. I genuinely enjoy helping students go from feeling confused or frustrated by math to feeling confident and capable. I’m patient, approachable, and believe that every student can improve with the right explanation, practice, and support. I’ve helped students strengthen their foundational math skills, improve their grades, prepare for exams, and tackle challenging courses including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus I & II. My goal isn’t simply to help you get the right answer, it’s to help you understand why the answer is correct so that you can solve similar problems independently.

About the lesson

My online math lessons are personalized to your specific needs, academic level, and goals. Whether you need homework help, exam preparation, help catching up, or ongoing support throughout the school year, we’ll focus on the areas where you need the most help.

During lessons, I can help you:
• Understand difficult math concepts step-by-step
• Work through homework and practice problems
• Prepare for quizzes, tests, and exams
• Strengthen weak foundational skills
• Improve problem-solving and mathematical reasoning
• Practice Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus • Review mistakes and understand how to avoid them
• Build confidence and become more independent in math.

Whether you’re currently struggling with math or simply want to take your grades to the next level, we’ll create lessons around your goals and your pace.
