About Rafia

My name is Rafia Farooq, and I am a passionate and professional Math tutor from Pakistan with an MS in Mathematics and over 7 years of teaching experience. I specialize in making mathematics clear and approachable for students of all levels.

Whether it’s Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, or Exam Preparation, I guide students step by step to help them understand concepts deeply and apply them confidently. Over the years, I have successfully taught students from USA, UK, UAE, Australia, China, and Canada, which has enriched my teaching style and enabled me to adapt to diverse curricula and learning needs.

With extensive classroom and online tutoring experience, I have developed a student-centered, engaging, and personalized teaching approach. My lessons are carefully planned, interactive, and supported by regular assessments and feedback. I focus not only on solving problems but also on strengthening students’ foundations, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills, ensuring long-term improvement.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student centered, focused on building strong conceptual understanding through step by step explanations and real-life examples. I adapt my methods to suit each student’s individual learning style whether visual, auditory, or logical and ensure that every concept is fully understood before moving forward.

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by an introduction to new concepts using simple explanations. I then guide the student through practice problems of increasing difficulty, encouraging questions and discussion throughout. Each lesson ends with a quick recap and practice work to reinforce learning.

What sets me apart is my patience, clarity of explanation, and ability to break down complex ideas into manageable parts. I also focus on building the student’s confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

My lessons are suitable for school students (Grade 6 to A-levels), college students, and anyone preparing for standardized math exams or entrance tests. I offer both concept-based learning and exam-focused preparation, depending on your needs.
