About Yanyfer
I’m a high school junior, active club member, and varsity cheerleader with big dreams of becoming a pediatric or NICU nurse. I love helping students grow academically because as a high school student I’ve come to the realization that strong learning skills open the door to success in everything else they do. I know math can be frustrating when it doesn’t click right away, so I focus on making things clear, manageable, and encouraging. Whether we’re reviewing basic skills or working through algebra problems, I’m here to help students build confidence and get the support they may not always get in class. Helping students improve and start to believe in their abilities is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. As a tutor, I’m dedicated, patient, and highly motivated to help each student unlock their full potential. I focus on building skills step-by-step to ensure steady improvement, helping students overcome challenges and gain confidence in their abilities. I’m professional, organized, and always focused on helping students build real skills and confidence they can take with them back into the classroom. This work means a lot to me — it gives me purpose and experience toward the career I’m working hard to reach. I look forward to making a positive impact in every session!

My online math lessons for K-9th grade students are tailored to each student’s current level and learning style. I focus on building a solid understanding of foundational concepts before moving on to more complex problems, ensuring students feel confident and ready for their next class.
I use textbooks and school-aligned resources to keep lessons consistent with what students are learning in school, which helps reduce confusion and supports better performance. Whether it’s basic arithmetic, pre-algebra, or algebra, I break down problems into manageable steps and practice with examples until the student truly understands.
What sets my tutoring apart is my patience and commitment to helping students build both skills and confidence. I create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, and progress is celebrated. Together, we’ll work to improve grades, test performance, and overall comfort with math.

Yanifer is a fantastic tutor, I recommend her to who ever. She taught my three year old how to count and how to sound his letters. My three year old can sound and separate his three letters for example : cat,bat,mom,dad etc and it was thanks to her. She really does know what she’s doing.She goes above and beyond for her students .
