About Dimitrios
I am a passionate and experienced Religious Studies teacher with four years of experience teaching in a London secondary school. I specialise in OCR A-Level Religious Studies and have taught students across the full range of secondary education. In 2026, my A-Level students achieved an ALPS 3 rating, reflecting strong student progress and outcomes.
Alongside teaching, I am currently a PhD candidate in Philosophy of Religion. My academic background is in Philosophy and Religious Studies, and I have a particular interest in philosophical and theological questions. I bring this academic expertise together with practical classroom experience to make complex ideas accessible, while helping students develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed in their examinations.
I am friendly, patient and encouraging, but I also believe that students should be challenged intellectually. My aim is not simply to help students memorise material, but to help them understand it, think critically and express their ideas clearly and persuasively.

I am an experienced Religious Studies teacher with four years of professional teaching experience at a secondary school in London, specialising in OCR A-Level Religious Studies. I am also a PhD candidate in Philosophy of Religion, with an academic background in Philosophy and Religious Studies. In 2026, my A-Level students achieved an ALPS 3 rating, reflecting strong progress and outcomes. I offer online lessons tailored to each student, combining clear explanations, discussion, essay planning, exam technique and detailed feedback. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are suitable for A-Level students seeking to improve their knowledge, analytical skills, essay writing and exam performance. I draw on both my classroom experience and academic research to help students engage critically and confidently with complex philosophical and theological ideas.
