About Shivani

Hello! I'm Shivani and I recent graduate from Imperial College London with a First Class Honours degree in Medical Biosciences.

I look forward to tutoring you or your child in A Level Biology. Having achieved A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A Level, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to ensure you perform well in your exams.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions!

About the lesson

I am a friendly and approachable tutor and teach using the mastery technique. Together we will work through the course material, module by module, ensuring you have a thorough understanding of the WHY and HOW behind each topic. Following this, we will conduct a small test and go through the answers together. If you achieve a score above 90% on the test, we will proceed to the next topic. If your score is below 90%, we will revise the content which was of particular difficulty, then repeat the test until a score of >90% is achieved. This is to ensure you obtain an in-depth understanding of the topic.

All my students will also receive access to the following:
- Concise summary sheets for each module (made by myself and not available anywhere else)
- My personal phone number to ask questions over WhatsApp at anytime
- A FREE UCAS personal statement consultation to help you make a competitive University application!

I have extensive knowledge of the EDUQAS A Level Biology specification. However, the content is similar to OCR, so if you are on the OCR board (or even a different board) do get in touch to discuss your options.

I welcome students of all abilities and will always prioritise your needs as a student during teaching. My lessons are typically 1 hour, however I can offer longer lessons if desired, particularly in the lead up to exams.

Let me know if you have any further questions. Looking forward to hearing from you!
