I tutor and A-Level Biology and Chemistry online, and I start Medicine at the University of Sheffield in September 2026. I achieved 11 Grade 9s at GCSE and 3 A*s at A-Level, so I've recently sat the exact exams my students are working towards!
That recency is the advantage I bring: I know which questions catch students out, where marks are typically lost, how examiners actually apply the mark scheme and much more about the system required to reach the top grades — because I was applying it myself only months ago.
I find out where a student's understanding is genuinely secure and where it isn't, since two students on the same course can have completely different gaps. From there, lessons are built around that specific student — spending more time on the topics or question types that are actually causing marks to be lost, rather than working through a set list in order.
Suitable for A-Level students of all abilities who want clearer understanding and stronger exam performance. Each lesson is 1 hour long and online.
