About Edward

I'm a current sixth form student who got all 9s in my 13 GCSEs and am currently studying biology, chemistry, psychology, maths and further maths at A-Level. I have always really enjoyed STEM subjects as well as teaching others. My aim is to work with students to build their confidence and skills with knowledge and exam technique, helping them to achieve the grades they want.

About the lesson

I'm a current sixth form student who is studying A-Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Psychology. I have always loved the maths and sciences as well as teaching others. My favourite subject is Biology and I achieved 99% in the GCSE as well as self-studying a Human Biology GCSE where I also achieved a 9. I run Biology enrichment sessions for younger years in my school so have experience teaching the subject to many different age groups.
Biology can be a difficult subject for many due to its large volume of content as well as having very precise mark schemes. I can help with understanding theory, working on the general skills that are assessed (experimental, maths, data) as well as working through difficult exam questions depending on what is needed for each individual. My sessions are typically 30-60 minutes long and I aim to make them tutee led, targeting specific areas that they want to work on so that real progress can be made quickly.
