About Tatiana
Hello! Bonjour! Hola! Ciao! Hallo!
My name is Tatiana, but feel free to call me Tati. I am currently a second year student at the University of Exeter where I study French language and culture.
I am from Mallorca, Spain but have lived in many different countries around the world. I absolutely love travelling and learning about new cultures, meeting new people and hearing new ideas.
This has allowed me to become the open-minded person I am and learn the five languages I know: French, Spanish, German, Italian and of course English!

Bonjour!
From secondary school to my undergraduate degree, I am a natural linguist when it comes to French and have always had an adoration for the language. Through my 4 years of experience in tutoring, I recognised that everyone learns differently, especially when it comes to languages.
Typically, you can expect 1-hour sessions where I will personalise lessons to the areas that my students believe they need to strengthen. Grammar and vocabulary exercises, listening exercises, and speaking practise are all examples of this. As we approach exam season, we will focus on past papers, where with consistent practice, my students will be well prepared and ace their exams.
During my lessons, I will primarily speak to students in French as I found this to be most helpful throughout my studies. Although this might seem intimidating at first, this will improve fluency, grow my students confidence, and ease the nervous feeling one gets when speaking a foreign language. As a French tutor, I will provide a comfortable and an interactive environment where my students can learn from mistakes and practice!
