About Anthony
I have 8 years of teaching experience in South Korea, Spain, Venezuela, and Peru. I have taught teenagers and adults. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and helping you with your English goals.
I am patient and understanding because I know learning English is difficult! I like to teach in a relaxed and fun class. Feel free to ask any questions and make some mistakes. This is how we all learn!
I can help you with:
• Conversational English – We can discuss any topics you’d like in a structured conversation class. Building pronunciation, listening comprehension, and confidence. I will also teach you a more natural vocabulary.
• Business English – improve speaking skills in phone conversations, presentations, meetings, resumes, and job interviews.
• Preparation for examinations including IELTS, Cambridge English, OPIC, and TOEIC.
• Academic English – Feedback and corrections of correct writing style, phrasing, and essay structure.

I think it's valuable that lessons are made to fit the student's specific needs and interests. I aim to use new language structures in real-life situations for students to really understand the use and meaning of what they are learning. I achieve this through role-play, discussions related to the target language, and encouraging students to make their own discussion questions.
I also teach vocabulary in a similar way, focusing less on memorizing long lists and encouraging students to think about how and in what situations the student will use the language.
After this, I will ask the student to complete a situation like making a phone call, buying something, or making plans for a meeting.
