About Aleeza
Hi! I'm Aleeza, a friendly and approachable student with a passion for English and helping others build confidence in their learning.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading, going for walks and listening to true crime podcasts. I particularly enjoy reading because I love discovering different perspectives and stories, which is one of the reasons I have always enjoyed English.
My interest in tutoring also comes from my experience working with Year 6 students in a primary school, where I supported children with their reading and writing. I found it really rewarding to help students develop their skills and become more confident in their abilities.
I want to teach because I understand that everyone learns differently, and I would love to help students feel more confident and comfortable with English. As a tutor, I aim to be patient, encouraging and approachable, creating lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

I am a friendly and patient English tutor with a strong academic background, achieving a Grade 8 in GCSE English Language, a Grade 7 in English Literature and a C in A-Level English Language. I also achieved 9 GCSEs overall, with grades ranging from 7–9.
Through my experience working in a primary school, I have supported Year 6 students with their reading and writing, helping me understand the importance of adapting support to each student's individual needs.
In my lessons, I will create a supportive and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I will tailor each lesson to the student's goals and areas they would like to improve, whether that is reading, writing, grammar, comprehension or preparing for exams.
I believe that learning English should not feel intimidating. My aim is to build each student's confidence while helping them develop the skills and understanding needed to achieve their full potential.
