About Ayabonga
Hi everyone, my name is Ayabonga Petshwa from sunny Cape Town in South Africa. I am 25 years young and I hold a 120 hour TEFL Certificate issued by TEFL Institute.
My dedication to my profession as a professional English teacher stems from my deep love of the language. Honestly, I had no idea that I had such a deep love for teaching until much later in life. However, I have always known that I enjoy engaging and interacting with people of all walks of life.
When it comes to education, I am well-versed. I have had three (international) jobs, and in each one, I was responsible for training and instructing students.
I bring a wide variety of experience and knowledge to the table, and I can't wait to invigorate you with with my positive ethical values. My ultimate goal is to alter the perspective of both young and old on the significance of learning English.
There is a pressing need for everyone to have a working knowledge of English because it is the most widely used language in the world. One's general level of intelligence increases along with one's command of the the English language.
In order to effectively present ideas, make recommendations, implement new strategies, etc, in the business world, you need to use the same English 98% of the time. That is why I went out on a limb and became an English teacher, and it has been nothing but a pleasure ever since.

My approach as I have just stated that is firstly, creating a very friendly, funny, relaxed and educational environment for my students. My approach also varies depending on the needs and learning style of the student. Teaching should be fun and productive.
My teaching philosophy, on the other hand, is based on encouraging students to think for themselves and using real-world examples whenever possible. I use English language to teach all my students.
Students can expect to have a great time, to study the relevant parts that they are meant to study, they can expect to get on time and prompt correction, they can expect a patient teacher, and they can expect dedication and compassion. I begin with with topics that the students are familiar with and progress to more complex areas as their confidence. I constantly use questions and examples to check my student's understanding.
In order to check, practice, and perfect the student's technique and understanding, I usually focus on exam-style questions. I also put more emphasis on some less obvious but critical skills, such as essay structure and technique, logical thought, and the ability to think critically.
My lessons are aimed at students from every age group, from beginners, intermediate to advance and adults.
