About Tyla
My name is Tyla Ann Gurney but most of my students call me "Teacher Tyla" (Which I secretly love!) I am from a beautiful country known as South Africa! I would describe myself as a passionate, dynamic and sociable educator with a burning desire to consistently impact and empower the lives of children and teenagers worldwide!
I also love to challenge myself to a game of chess, cook up a storm, dance my socks off and travel different parts of the world!

I prefer to use the PPP Method (Presentation, Practice, Production) and the TPR Method (Total Physical Response) to engage students in interactive and fun-filled language learning.
