About Alicia

Hello! My name is Ms. Valle, and I am an elementary Spanish teacher and reading intervention tutor.

I have experience working with children from Kindergarten through 6th grade and understand that every student learns differently. Some children need more time, extra practice, or a different way of learning a skill before it begins to click. My goal is to meet each student where they are and help them move forward at their own pace.

When I work with students, I use the Read Well Program, which provides books based on a student's reading level and the skills they are currently working on. I also use Hand2Mind, an interactive, hands-on approach to teaching phonics.

I believe reading should not be something a child is afraid of. With patience, encouragement, and the right support, students can make progress and begin to see themselves as capable readers.

I would love the opportunity to help your child strengthen their reading skills and, most importantly, build their confidence as a reader.

About the lesson

Read Well Program
Students work with books that match their reading level and focus on the specific skills they need to strengthen.

Hand2Mind Phonics
I use hands-on, interactive activities to make phonics easier to understand and more engaging for students.

Tutoring may focus on:

Phonics and decoding
Reading fluency
Vocabulary
Reading comprehension
Building confidence and independence

Every student learns differently. I provide patient, supportive instruction while helping students make steady progress.
