About Avin
I'm an English graduate with a passion for helping GCSE students feel calm, prepared, and confident going into their exams.
I know how overwhelming exam season can feel — the pressure to perform, the uncertainty about what examiners actually want, and the sheer volume of material to get through. That's exactly why I started tutoring. My goal is to take the stress out of GCSE English by giving students a clear, structured approach that makes the whole process feel manageable.
I believe that no student should walk into an exam feeling underprepared. With the right techniques and enough practice, every student can perform to the best of their ability — and my 100% pass rate shows that this approach works.

I hold a degree in English and specialise in GCSE English tutoring delivered entirely online, with a 100% student pass rate to date.
My lessons are one hour long and built around a simple but effective philosophy: the best way to prepare for an exam is to practise it. Every session is structured around past papers and real exam questions, so students become deeply familiar with the format, the mark scheme, and exactly what examiners are looking for. Rather than simply going through content, I focus on building technique — how to structure an answer, how to manage time in the exam, and how to pick up every mark available.
Lessons are tailored to each student's individual weak points. In our first session I'll assess where you are and what needs the most work, then we'll build from there at a pace that suits you.
These lessons are aimed at GCSE students aged 14–16 who want to improve their grade, feel more confident going into their exams, or simply need a structured and focused approach to revision. Whether you're aiming to pass or pushing for a grade 9, I can help.
