About Mandela
I am a mathematics and chemistry teacher currently offering my services to students at Brookhouse International School in Kenya.
I teach mathematics and Chemistry for both Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson EDEXCEL from IGCSE/GCSE to A levels. The lessons are normally tailored to meet the minimum examination threshold.

With Mathematics, I find practice by far the most effective way to improve. My lessons are mainly based around the student doing questions, offering hints and suggestions along the way to encourage them to reach a solution themselves. Nobody learns from watching someone else do a question, but if you are in the driving seat, you can clearly see the method and technique to reach the answer. Gcse & A level Mathematics is all about understanding what they are asking for in the question (because each year, the questions are very similar with different numbers or wording). Given my experience, I can help the student understand what each question requires and ultimately improve their confidence and ability.
