I graduated from film art high school. I have always spoken English and for a few months I have been giving private lessons both vis a vis and via webcam due to Covid. I am not a teacher but one of my goals is to obtain the Delt certificate to be able to officially teach.

My first encounter with English took place at a very young age thanks to my parents and their jobs.
I firmly believe that dialogue and listening are essential to develop the confidence needed to master the language. I usually structure my lessons in two hours: in the first 40/50 minutes we do grammar, even with written exercises, in order to consolidate the absolutely necessary foundations. In the remaining time we talk, which means learning the pronunciation of single words, in case of younger students, or using the grammar rules learned before to have a complete learning experience.
Very often shyness and insecurity put a wall between us and new experiences, that’s why I dedicate so much time to conversation, because it’s fun and it forces you to break that wall that it’s stopping you from mastering the language.
