About OmerPosti
Omer-Itzhak Posti is a highly skilled Israeli oboist who recently earned third prize in the 2024 ARD International Music Competition. He studied with Jacques Tys at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) for five years and is currently pursuing his master’s with Professor Nick Deutsch at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig. Starting in March 2025, he will join the MDR Symphony Orchestra as their Solo Oboist.
Private lessons with Omer, bringing his professional experience and advanced training to his teaching, offer a rare opportunity to learn from an international artist and orchestral soloist. His coaching could help you refine your technique, explore new repertoire, and gain insights into advanced performance skills.

Experienced and Passionate Oboe Teacher
As a professional musician with many years of experience, my goal is to help you develop your musical skills in a stimulating and enriching learning environment. Whether you're a beginner or already advanced, I will adapt to your level and personal goals to help you progress at your own pace.
Beyond instrumental technique, I emphasize musical interpretation and artistic expression. My teaching approach focuses on the joy of playing and a deep understanding of music. Together, we will work on sound, intonation, phrasing, articulation, and all the elements that make up the richness of the oboe repertoire.
My lessons are suitable for all ages and all levels, from beginners to advanced students wishing to perfect their playing. I will demonstrate patience and attentive listening to guide you in the best way possible through your musical learning journey.
