About Irene
Hello, I'm Irene, a soon-to-be freshman at NYU. I attended elementary and high school in Canada and will attend NYU as a Nursing and Global Public Health major starting from September.
I have experience as a teacher at Daechi-dong and Mokdong English Libraries in Seoul, and I have done in-person and virtual private tutorings such as English reading, writing, speaking, homework assistance, lower level mathematics for elementary and middle school students.
I can tutor students in English Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, American mathematics (elementary level, pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, geometry), Korean Mathematics (elementary-middle school), and ACT.

Whenever it comes to tutoring my students, I go through the steps of getting to know the student well, building a bond, recognizing their strengths/weaknesses/needs/areas of improvement before starting any session. After all this process and making a solid lesson plan, I teach the materials in an interactive way, communicating with the student in and out of class constantly. Classes are taught meticulously and I always try my best to convey the materials thoroughly. Feedbacks are available after every session as well. My lessons are for pre-k to high school students with various academic backgrounds and levels.
