I am a dedicated and passionate Math tutor with over 25 years of experience helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with learners of all levels—from primary school to junior college—tailoring my teaching style to suit individual needs. My approach focuses on developing strong foundational understanding, problem-solving skills, and exam readiness. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can overcome their challenges in Math and even learn to enjoy it. Teaching Methodology & Techniques - I focus on building a strong foundation in mathematical concepts through step-by-step explanations, tailored practice, and real-world examples to enhance understanding. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and needs, fostering both confidence and independence. Lesson Duration - Each lesson typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s level and learning goals. Qualifications & Experience - I'm a graduate from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with over 30 years of tutoring experience. Over the years, I’ve helped numerous students significantly improve their grades, many of whom have gone on to excel in higher education. Target Students - I offer tuition for Primary and Secondary School students, covering all math topics from basic arithmetic to advanced algebra and geometry. Lessons are suitable for students aged 7 to 16. I conduct lessons from my home in Yishun, and both individual and small group sessions are available.
