About Noelani

Certified Head Tutor at the Peer Learning Center: supervised tutoring shifts, trained new tutors, and supported students in chemistry, biology, math, writing, and Spanish. Six years of private tutoring experience for K–12 students, creating individualized lesson plans in STEM, reading, writing, and test prep. Debate Instructor for the Harvard Debate Council Summer Workshops: taught 250+ students public speaking, persuasive writing, research skills, and critical thinking; coached an 18-student lab daily and provided one-on-one support. As a tutor, I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step practice, and building confidence through real understanding. A typical lesson with me begins with quick goal-setting, guided examples, and targeted exercises tailored to the student’s needs. What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex ideas in multiple ways until they truly make sense. I work with middle and high school students at all levels, from those needing support to those aiming to excel.
