About Janelle

My name is Janelle Lee. I grew up in Long Island, NY and went to Boston College for my undergraduate degree. After graduating college, I moved to NYC to pursue a passion in education and became an elementary school teacher. After teaching for 10 years, I moved into my career as an instructional consultant where I enjoy supporting teachers and leaders across the country. In my free time, I enjoy working out, roller skating and of course spending time with my family and friends!

About the lesson

I take a progressive approach to teaching allowing students to discover methods of learning that are most comfortable and sensible to them. I have a breadth of experience in teaching students How to read (phonetics) as well as how to become an active thinker while reading. After teaching in NYC schools, I am now an instructional consultant who coaches teachers and leaders in their classrooms to get the best results. I am passionate about teaching and building confidence in students.
