About Patrik
Patrik Gelbart is a performer and passionate musician/composer with a strong background in Theater, Improv, and Music. He is the youngest member of the faculty of Actionplay, a theater group providing access to the arts for neurodivergent individuals. At Actionplay, Patrik serves as the Assistant Music Director and Co-Composer. He has taught drama and music to people of all ages and abilities, using combinations of music, role-play, improv, storytelling, and playwriting. Patrik is extremely enthusiastic about working with neurodivergent individuals like himself and everyone who wants to express themselves through music.
Patrik is also a dedicated clarinetist. He is a former member of ISO Orchestras NY, where he played both clarinet and bass clarinet, contributing to numerous performances and honing his skills in orchestral settings. Currently, Patrik is a member of the Third Street Philharmonia Orchestra, where he continues to play bass clarinet and clarinet. His commitment to his craft and his ability to blend into various musical ensembles highlight his versatility and passion for music.

Perfect! Patrik was very patient with my 9-year old son. My son is super shy but opened up to him right away. Patrik was very encouraging and kind whenever my son needed to try something's a new way so my son wouldn’t get frustrated- very experienced teacher
