About Gayle
I am a female educator with 30 years of teaching/tutoring experience, locally and abroad. I am skilled, passionate and energetic. I make it my goal to show my students their value and ability to accomplish anything. I perform all my job tasks to a high standard of excellence and ensure that all deadlines are met timeously. I have excellent administration skills, can communicate effectively with a group and am always a team player. I am continuously looking to upskill myself to enhance my teaching and management style to be the most effective educator/ leader that I can be. At my last place of employment, I was the Head of Department for the senior department and the Mathematics and Social Sciences Subject Head. I have also worked as a Youth Counsellor, had a Deputy Head position at a Montessori school, taught Grade 1 - 12 students in various learning areas and successfully been the number one sales consultant for a local company. I currently tutor Grade 8 to 12 students at a Private Education centre and am a life, organizational and study skills coach.
I enjoy inspiring my students using my personal journey as my source. I am a cancer survivor and have overcome many different obstacles health wise. As a teacher, tutor and coach, I believe I have an opportunity to change a life daily and therefore I teach!
