About Fayizah
I am Zahara! I am a final year student at UCL. I am originally from Bangladesh and study Neuroscience (ooo brains)! I want to teach because I know that schools leave a lot for independent learning that is not possible for a lot of students, including me back in the days. I want people to have fun when they study but also be able to apply what they learn! I am 22 but could pass off as a 12 year old- and I can be as good a friend as a teacher. It’s important to note that instilling fear as a tutor rarely everleads to good results so my approach is to teach you the fundamentals, and your approach should be to ask me questions at whatever point you want. I believe there are no “stupid” questions.

My approach is to learn smart not hard. There are so many easy ways of learning!I also believe practice is the best way to retain information and to do well. I teach using exam papers from question banks that date back to 2000s and they have proven to help! I also make my own questions and mark schemes that help students practice on their own in their free times. I teach with discipline, but keeping it fun and engaging, because the relationship between a tutor and a student NEEDS both aspects.
