About Donhem
I am a premed/neuroscience student at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Growing up,, math and science subjects have always captivated me and I even first started learning calculus in the 6th grade. The first time I tutored a student in math, I was in the 4th grade while they were in the 7th grade (she lived in my apartment). It was only prealgebra, but it was definitely a subject at the time I was very excited to tutor. I haven't "tutored" for pay in a while, but I do regularly help my friends and teach them how to solve calculus problems and grasp the concepts.

I'm willing to tutor subjects ranging from algebra to calculus 3/linear algebra, regardless of the grade level of the individual. My technique is to strengthen the connection between innate deductive/inductive reasoning and perception of concepts. Math is not a subject that needs to be memorized, but rather understood. Once it is understood it is simply a matter of avoiding careless errors in calculations.
