About Riya
I have a B.S. in Neuroscience from a UC and am familiar with the curriculum of the school districts in Orange county. I have been giving lessons for 4 years to seven kids. My students have had improved test results and overall attitude towards learning as a result of my tutoring.

My teaching methodology is based on my study of neuroscience. The concepts I use to teach are mental links, dual-coding theory, diffused thinking, analogies, and elaboration. These concepts help the brain converts information from working memory over into long-term memory. I am looking to give lessons to students from pre-K to 12th grade.
