About Mina

I’m finishing up as a PhD Fellow at King’s College London, with a focus on computational neuroscience. I have completed an MSc Neuroscience at Imperial College London and hold a BSc Biological Sciences from Queen Mary University of London. I have 5 years of experience tutoring different ages and levels, and have myself achieved a minimum A-grade in all the subjects I am offering to teach. I am able to teach a variety of age groups and subjects and can employ a variety of responsive teaching styles and tailor our lessons to suit your learning style so that you can get the most from our sessions. I’m an extremely friendly, flexible and an enthusiastic teacher. I’m organised, hard-working and really passionate about teaching – especially science! I love seeing others succeed and will go above and beyond to help you/your child learn and feel confident about subjects that you/they struggle with! I can help you prepare for exams, brush up on subjects, apply for programmes, study for entrance exams, proof-read and provide dissertation/essay help. I also have lots of computational and coding experience (proficient in both R and MATLAB), and a strong stats/research background. I'm trilingual and have a keen interest in languages as well as science! I look forward to meeting you and doing all that I can to help you achieve your goals!

About the lesson

I’m happy to tailor lessons to your needs and level. For university and A-level students, I can help with reports, essays, and proofreading. At A-level, GCSE and school level, we’ll work through the curriculum together, identify weaker areas, and ensure everything is covered before focusing on building confidence where it’s most needed. We will also go through past papers and mark schemes, learning HOW to answer questions.
