About Zahran
I am a Medical student at the Barts and the London, having achieved an A* in A Level maths. I am currently offering lessons in maths up to GCSE level and over the past year, have been tutoring small groups and individuals. My students have progressed to achieve exceptional GCSE grades, obtaining 7s, 8s and 9s. As a tutor, I am engaging and effective in my delivery, working at a pace that is comfortable for the student yet challenging enough to make progress. I feel I have accumulated enough experience to provide tailored and effective lessons. At the moment, I am only offering lessons through Skype.

Previous to the lessons, I ask the students whether they would like me to cover certain topics which they find challenging or just teach something relevant to their level. I can teach on a one to one basis or to groups, explaining the topic and going through example questions so the student understands what is being taught. I then set practice questions in the lesson and as homework so as to consolidate their knowledge.
