About Daryll
Hi ! I’m Mrs. Daryll. I’m 35 and a substitute teacher for Bryan county (Richmond Hill area). I’m currently a senior at Georgia Southern University, where I plan to graduate with my bachelors in English and a writing minor. I have two step daughters (18 and 15) and my own daughter (age 12) and my son (age 6). I LOVE teaching, reading, writing, and being able to see the look of pride and confidence on the faces of students as they come to an epiphany and realize that they are able to properly convey their emotions and opinions through language. I’m flexible understanding and I can have a laid-back approach to teaching or if needed I can bring structure and discipline. It all depends on what the student needs. I’m here to help out with any and everything English and literature! I’m familiar with teaching at ALL levels. My experience ranges from students five years old up to high school and college. I also have extensive experience helping children with disabilities, physically, and mentally. This includes down syndrome and autism (which have been some of my best experiences). As someone who works in the public school system, I have seen many children struggle with writing and reading. My goal is to take these issues and turn them into CONFIDENCE! (Also, good grades and better job opportunities may follow). I can help with resumes and college essays. So whether or not your need for your child or yourself reach out and I will do what I can to help!
