About Kathy
I have spent the last 28 years working as an elementary, middle and high school teacher diagnosing and remediating reading problems in a variety of students from regular ed to autistic to LD to gifted. Overall, my students have made great gains because I also work on their confidence level because reading and thinking are two different things.

I have a Master's Degree in Reading. The first step is to diagnose the area of concern through a series of tests to identify the specific problem that the student is having. Based on those results, lessons can be planned to meet the students needs and daily reading homework goals will be assigned as students scoring in the 90th percentile above on standardized tests are reading independently an average of 67 minutes per day. Hard work produces results!

Details
Because my schedule gets booked quickly, I require a 24 hour cancellation notice or you will need to pay for the class. There is a $5 travel fee per class for locations further than 10 miles from my home.
