About Sam
I have given almost 100 tutorials in Mathematics and Sciences online and have developed a friendly and encouraging tutorial style. I attended boarding school in the UK however I grew up attending both American and British schools in Asia and Africa, and hence feel well suited to teaching students of many different academic and cultural backgrounds.

I tailor each of my lessons to the students specific needs. However, from my memories of being taught at school and my experience as a tutor I have developed a teaching style that pairs teaching a solid understanding of mathematical concepts with plenty of practice and answering questions to help the logic become second-nature. I will set homework each week, that will not require more than an hour to complete, to help me understand how strongly the concepts taught in the lesson have been understood and internalised, allowing me to set up for the next lesson and cover any gaps in understanding.
