About Aqil

Hi! I'm Aqil, an online tutor originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. I've been holding online classes on several platforms for almost a year now and have received positive reviews learners.

I hold a Master's in Political Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and I've been working in various sectors over the last 7 years. I attended a 3-year language program prior to uni, focusing mostly on English (CEFR Level: C1), as well as Spanish (DELE B1) and German.

I offer nuanced and effective pedagogical approaches in my tutoring. I'll equip you with tips and tricks to tackle challenges in acquiring Indonesian. As a tutor, my goal extends beyond helping you become fluent, eloquent, and confident in your language skills - I also aim to provide you with a sense of fulfillment on your learning journey.

About the lesson

Combining systematic approaches with engaging activities and a relaxed environment, I aim to deliver an effective and enjoyable learning experience tailored to your individual needs to help you achieve your language goals.

To provide a solid, well-structured foundation in essential areas, I use several self-made tutoring resources (aligned w the standardized curriculum), supplemented by contemporary, authentic materials such as podcasts, short videos, and popular articles.

To enhance your fluency and accuracy, we'll cover variety of topics in speaking practices. I'll introduce you to daily expressions, phrases, idioms, as well as some slangs - allowing you to familiarize yourself with the practical use of the language in real-life situation.
