About Héloïse

I am a French student from Paris, in exchange at the University of Toronto for 1 year!

As a trilingual student (in French, German and English), I I think I have acquired the right methods to assimilate a language efficiently, and I'd be delighted to share it with you. I am now a third-year student at Sciences Po Paris, France's leading University in Political Science and International Relations, and I am working on learning my fourth language, Spanish.

I know how to adapt to my students thanks to my wide range of experience in teaching, as a German tutor for high schoolers and as a volunteer tutor for non-French speakers elementary school children in France. I am also the older of two younger sisters and frequently help them with their schoolwork ;)

About the lesson

Bonjour et bienvenue !
Regularity being the key word in learning a language, I commit myself to provide exercises specially adapted to each course of progress.
It is especially important to me to take time to insist specifically on the points of French grammar generating difficulties, which require a lot of repetition. As much as possible, I would like to dedicate the majority of the session time to speaking, leaving the written practice exercises to be done from week to week.
Having studied in several bilingual/international schools, I indeed value the importance of language immersion, and I encourage sessions 100% in French when the level allows!
