About Natalia
I am greatly qualified for this tutoring job because of my diverse background, my inner determination to succeed, my bilingual capabilities, and my overall life experiences. I can sincerely say that I am able to get along with, and work with, people of any race, gender, culture or age. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I have a strong and persevering desire to represent Hispanic women ́s ability to successfully join America ́s workforce.
I grew up in Juarez, Mexico, one of the most dangerous cities on the Mexican-U.S. border. Growing up in this environment gifted me with a different perspective on economic struggle and foreign relations because I witnessed harsh poverty and adversity first hand. My upbringing gave me valuable communication skills, both oral and written, and provided me with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
I sincerely believe that my bi-cultural background provides additional insight into this opportunity. Moreover, in my collegiate career I graduated with a GPA of 3.95 in Spanish Iberian Literature Studies and my Thesis earned Honors.

I base my approach and I plan my lectures based on the student and what their needs or goals are with learning the language. I am a firm believer that each individual has different learning styles, and I am willing to work closely with the student to see what approach fits best. In college I double majored in Psychology and Spanish Literature which gives me a great tool set to adapt and understand learning styles.

Details
My rates improve with student loyalty. For example, I would be willing to discuss a particular rate if it involved several months of tutoring. Since I have a busy schedule but I understand things may come up, I offer a 48 hour cancellation policy. If the appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours the class will be charged in full amount for the time allotted.
