About Sara

I’m a native Spanish speaker from Mexico City currently living in Melbourne and studying Psychology at RMIT University.

I’m passionate about communication and language learning, and I truly enjoy helping students gain confidence when speaking Spanish. Studying psychology has given me strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.

Living and studying in Australia has also helped me understand what it’s like to learn and use another language in academic and professional settings. Because of this, I’m especially supportive with students who may feel nervous about speaking or making mistakes.

I am organized, reliable, and committed to preparing personalized lessons that match each student’s goals. Whether you’re learning Spanish for travel, work, or personal growth, I aim to make every lesson structured, engaging, and effective.

I take my tutoring seriously and strive to create a positive and professional learning experience for every student.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Sara, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico City and a Psychology student at RMIT University in Melbourne. My background in psychology helps me create a supportive, patient, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking from day one.

My teaching approach is practical and conversation-based. I focus on helping you build confidence and speak naturally, not just memorize grammar rules. Grammar is always explained clearly and simply, and we practice it through real-life situations.

Lesson structure
Typical lesson length: 45 minutes
• 5 min: Warm-up conversation
• 15 min: New topic (grammar or vocabulary)
• 15 min: Speaking practice
• 10 min: Feedback and corrections
