About Catalina
As a Veterinary doctor hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, currently specializing in reproductive animal medicine in the USA, my journey has been a unique intersection of science and language. I've always believed that effective communication can profoundly impact relationships and humanity as a whole.
My love for communication and languages has led me to teach English to both children and adults in Colombia, ranging from basic to advanced levels. The continual learning process is a philosophy I hold dear, and I am currently enhancing my English skills while delighting in teaching my native language to those eager to learn.
My approach to language teaching is shaped by my background in veterinary medicine, where precision and clarity are paramount. I draw parallels between effective communication in veterinary care and language instruction, emphasizing the importance of a well-structured foundation in grammar. I believe that if we objectively understand the language, it becomes logical and easier to speak.
