"Thinking about the best way to learn, I find that recorded listening drills for daily practice provide the most consistent progress for my students. I use my linguistic background to help travelers and exam candidates alike. We focus on listening practice or conversational fluency depending on your specific goals.
My degree in music means I am especially sensitive to the melodic patterns in Spanish. You will find that my methods are grounded in 13 years of cross cultural communication. Improvement is inevitable when we stay consistent."

"Sometimes the most effective way to learn a language is to forget about textbooks for a while. Being a native Spanish speaker with a music degree gives me a unique perspective on the rhythm and cadence of speech. I have worked with 215 students who were preparing for exams or just trying to survive their next trip abroad. My approach to grammar is simple because I focus on natural accent and intonation rather than rigid rules.
I have spent 13 years navigating different cultures and I know how intimidating reading comprehension can feel. Whether you are advanced or just beginning your journey, I make sure the environment stays friendly.
I offer recorded listening drills for daily practice so you can keep hearing the language even when we are not together. Writing skills and pronunciation are important too. We will get there by focusing on what makes you feel comfortable."
