About Andrés
I work as a professional classical musician. I studied historical oboes at the Royal College of Music in London. Since graduating, I have had an increasingly busy diary performing, however I also have a passion for languages, for in my research during college I had to study many 17th and 18th manuscripts, often written in middle-English. This not only helped me expand my horizons in my own Engish speaking abilities, but also reinforced my passion for British history and of course, music.
I can teach you formal and informal Spanish in all its forms. From my own experience the true test of proficiency in a language is when you are able to understand humour. I won't be telling you jokes 24/7 but my lessons aren't boring either!

I will ask you a few questions about your goal with the language: do you want to become a proficient speaker? is your career tied to learning a foreing language? impress your family and friends when in holiday? Whatever your goals are, I can tailor lessons to your needs. I will take into account where you are in terms of speaking ability and take it from there. I offer tuition in all areas: speaking, reading, vocabulary and pronunciation. I am a native Spanish speaker who has learnt English as his second language, so I am aware of the challenges, but more importantly, of the rewards of being billingual.
In a digitally connected world, it seems it is not enough to speak only one language: nowadays everyone can learn a second language. Allow me to introduce you to the marvellous world of Spanish.
