About Marcelo

I am a native Spanish speaker with a strong passion for helping students grow academically and gain confidence in their language skills. Having previously tutored students in high school, I understand how to explain concepts clearly, break down difficult grammar, and create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

I take my role as a tutor seriously and approach every lesson with preparation, patience, and professionalism. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them truly understand the language and feel confident using it in real conversations. I believe consistency, clear communication, and encouragement are key to student success.

As someone who has both mastered Spanish naturally and helped others learn it academically, I am able to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real-world usage. Whether a student needs help with homework, exam preparation, or conversational practice, I am committed to providing structured, personalized lessons that deliver real results.

About the lesson

As a native Spanish speaker with prior tutoring experience, my approach focuses on building confidence, real understanding, and practical communication skills. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and actively participating. Rather than memorizing vocabulary lists alone, I emphasize conversation, repetition in context, and real-life application.

My teaching method is structured but flexible. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. For beginners, I focus on pronunciation, foundational vocabulary, and essential grammar while incorporating simple conversations from the start. For intermediate and advanced students, I work on sentence structure, verb tenses, reading comprehension, writing skills, and fluid conversation. I also help with homework, test preparation, and class assignments when needed.

A typical lesson usually includes:

A short review of previous material

Introduction of a new concept (grammar, vocabulary, or conversation topic)

Guided practice with examples and exercises

Interactive speaking practice

A recap and optional practice suggestions for improvement

What sets me apart is that I am a native speaker who understands both the technical rules of Spanish and how it is actually spoken in everyday life. I can explain grammar clearly while also helping students sound natural and confident. Because I have tutored students before, I understand how to break down difficult concepts in a simple and patient way.
